 Fall Ayurveda Cleanse

A guided ayurvedic experience in sayulita // November 6-15, 2026

Nourish     Reset      Reconnect

Release the heaviness of summer, restore the digestive and nervous system,
and ease into high season in Sayulita.

Rooted in the traditional Ayurvedic kitchari cleanse, this guided experience combines simple, nourishing food with daily rituals and community support, customized for Sayulita beach life. We'll begin with a local farmers market outing, spend five days focusing on simple Ayurvedic nourishment, and close with a shared dinner after the transition back to everyday eating has begun. Along the way, you'll receive practical guidance and support to help you bring what you've learned into daily life.

No complicated meal planning.

No elaborate wellness routine or list of supplements to buy.

Just five days of coming back to the basics with the support of the community we’ll build.

What is an Ayurvedic Cleanse?

Ayurveda teaches us that our well-being is closely connected to the foods we eat, our daily habits, and the rhythms of nature. A traditional Ayurvedic cleanse offers an opportunity to simplify your diet and routine for a few days, giving you space to turn your attention toward how you nourish and care for yourself.

At the heart of our cleanse is kitchari, a traditional combination of rice, mung dal, and warming spices. We'll build on this foundation with vegetables, chutneys, and other simple recipes that bring variety to your meals while keeping the preparation manageable.

nourishment over restriction

In a world full of wellness trends, detox products, and supplement routines, Ayurveda offers a different perspective: food itself can be medicine.

Rather than starving yourself, relying on juices alone, or adding a cabinet full of expensive supplements, an Ayurvedic cleanse centers on simple, nourishing foods that are gentle on digestion and easy to prepare.

The intention isn't to deprive your body. It's to simplify what you're eating, reduce the demands of elaborate meal planning, and give yourself a few days to focus on nourishment, rest, and supportive daily rhythms so that the body and soul has time and space to focus on deeper detox.

KICKOFF CALL

Before we begin, we'll meet virtually to walk through the cleanse, review the food plan, discuss preparation, and make sure you feel ready for the days ahead. I'll also explain the optional flush component that can be a part of the cleanse if you are called to it. This call will be recorded if you can’t make it live.

farmers market outing

We'll meet at the first Sayulita farmers market of the season to shop for fresh vegetables and other ingredients you'll need! It's a chance to connect with local produce and providers and prepare for the cleanse with those who will be experiencing it with you.

ACTIVE CLEanse (5 days)

During the 5 active cleansing days, you'll receive daily guidance like journal or meditation prompts, gentle challenges, and support through our WhatsApp group. You'll have a place to ask questions, share your experience, and stay connected.

Closing Dinner

To celebrate the completion of our cleanse, we’ll gather to share a delicious, nourishing meal that supports our transition back into everyday eating. The charming garden space of Casita de Curry will provide the backdrop as we share and integrate our experience and deepen our bond of community.

WHat I'll provide:

Hard-to-source Ayurvedic ingredients

I'll provide specialty ingredients that can be difficult to find locally, so you won't have to hunt around Sayulita for everything you need or do a lot of ordering online. These include mung beans, spices like hing and black mustard seeds and triphala powder. I’ll explain more about how and when we use these on our kickoff call when we review the cleanse roadmap and recipes.

Easy, nourishing recipes

You'll receive a pack of recipes with a modern twist on the traditional kitchari cleanse, with simple recipes, breakfast alternatives, vegetable dishes, chutneys, and additional variations to keep your meals interesting. Everything is designed to be manageable in real-life Sayulita kitchens, even if you're working with just a burner or two.

WHat YOU'll NEED TO provide:

You'll purchase your own fresh vegetables and everyday ingredients, such as basmati rice, ghee, and commonly available spices like turmeric and cumin. We'll go over what to buy and how to prepare during the kickoff, so you'll know what you need before the cleanse begins.

A note from Jenn...

My own experience with Ayurveda taught me that feeling better doesn't have to mean adding more to your plate or your to-do list.

I created this cleanse to make Ayurvedic nourishment feel approachable and doable in real life, with simple recipes, supportive daily rituals, and the chance to reconnect with what feels good for your body.

You don't need previous experience with Ayurveda, a fully equipped kitchen, or a perfect wellness routine. You just need a willingness to try something new and make a little space for yourself.

Please note that this is a guided wellness experience, not a medical treatment or a substitute for medical care. A cleanse may not be appropriate for everyone, particularly during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or for people with certain medical conditions or a history of disordered eating. If you have health concerns or dietary needs, please check with an appropriate healthcare professional before participating.
